Poultry Programs
The Poultry Program focuses on addressing poultry health and food safety issues related to poultry production and processing for backyard enthusiasts and conventional and non-conventional commercial poultry producers. Areas of research include data capture and analysis, novel rapid methods of detection of food-borne pathogens, and advanced surveillance approaches with respect to avian influenza in waterfowl.
